Business Training Success

Lilian’s entrepreneurship began with a training class offered through Rafiki wa Maendeleo Trust. In the class, she learned the concept of productive assets (e.g. chickens, goats, cows) and how these assets can provide current income and future capital for her and her family/community.

In November 2016, Lilian kicked off her business venture with 2 chickens. In 2.5 short years, she was able to add 8 sheep to her productive asset base.

Thanks to her initial training and follow-up coaching, her children are able to attend school… Lilian sold one of her sheep to aid in payment of school fees.

Congratulations, Lilian! We look forward to watching your business continue to flourish in the years to come.
